# API Environments

The Canonn APIv2 has 3 different environments:

  1. Production/Live - https://api.canonn.tech 1.1) Used for live applications, data is persistent
  2. Staging/Beta - https://api.canonn.tech:2053 2.1) Used for testing applications prior to live use, data is wiped and mirrored from production every week
  3. Development/Alpha - https://api.canonn.tech:2083 3.1) Used by Canonn R&D to test new updates prior to pushing into staging for live based testing, not for public use.
